Marnie Watson (Famke Janssen) is under house arrest. She is serving her sentence in the house in Brooklyn in which her crime was committed - she killed her violent husband, the policeman Mike Watson (Michael Paré), in a clear vision of Marnier-defense situation. Soon the resentment of the dead is manifested and it is increasingly clear that the isolated woman is in danger.
